Cooperation in the agricultural sector between Uzbekistan and Mongolia is steadily developing. Within the framework of implementing the decision of the head of our state "On measures to implement the agreements reached in the fields of agriculture and food during the high-level visit to Mongolia," a series of practical works have been initiated.

For this purpose, a working group led by the Chairman of the Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee, Bahrom Norqobilov, organized a business trip to Mongolia.

During the business trip, negotiations were held with the leaders of Mongolia's "Jargalant Sheep," "West Point," and "Marble Meat" enterprises, and contracts were signed with over 40 farms in our country for the supply of sheep.

Additionally, cooperation was established between 27 Mongolian meat processing plants and Uzbek entrepreneurs. Through this cooperation, measures have been outlined to triple meat imports to Uzbekistan next year, ensuring the delivery of 3,000 tons of affordable and high-quality meat.

As part of the trip, the first batch of 1,000 "Bayad" breed sheep was delivered to the Navoi region via air transport.

According to the plan, by the end of October, 50,000 sheep will be regularly transported in 60 flights, and another 50,000 sheep will be brought to Uzbekistan in November and December. Thus, a total of 100,000 sheep are scheduled to be imported into our country.

Furthermore, negotiations were held with the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, S.Amarsaikhan, resulting in an agreement to reduce the state duty on the export of sheep and goats from $18 to $7.
