Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkopf, in an interview with CNN, stated that Russia had made "some concessions" regarding the issue of five Ukrainian regions.
According to him, "serious security guarantees" for Ukraine were agreed upon during the Trump-Putin meeting in Alaska.
Witkopf called this agreement a "turning point" and expressed hope that the upcoming meeting with Zelensky and European leaders in the U.S. would be productive.
Meanwhile, Trump wrote on social media about a "big win" regarding Russia, saying, "Stay tuned for news."
