A specialized department responsible for the implementation and development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has been established at the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan. The ministry's press service reported this.

According to the report, the new department will serve to "optimize processes and strengthen defense capabilities." Its main tasks include analyzing big data, automating management, modeling rapid scenarios, and increasing the speed of decision-making in military situations.

The department will collaborate with universities, research centers, and IT companies in Kazakhstan and abroad.
