A young mother named Nasiba (a conditional name), who had been living in the Samarkand region and wanted to get away from family conflicts, was deceived by a promise of a high-paying job abroad and found herself in a difficult situation. The Consulate General reports on this.

According to them, a man named Kemal (a conditional name), living in Istanbul and presenting himself as a successful entrepreneur on social networks, promised Nasiba a high-paying job that did not require qualifications or language skills, and brought her to Turkey without a work visa. However, the "generous entrepreneur," who later claimed she was indebted to him for travel expenses, took her passport and tried to force her to work in difficult conditions.

Based on an appeal received by the Consulate regarding this situation, our diplomatic mission and the representative office of the Migration Agency in Turkey quickly took measures. As a result of the actions taken, our citizen was safely returned to her Homeland. Furthermore, information about the actions of the individual who attempted to deceive our citizen with false promises was provided to the relevant Turkish law enforcement agencies, the report states.
