The report about gypsies piercing a girl with a needle in Kokand was denied.

Reports circulating on social networks that women in Kokand city allegedly infected a girl with AIDS using a needle do not correspond to reality. The Fergana Regional DIA issued an official statement about this.

It was stated that during the pre-investigation checks, such an incident was not confirmed.

The issue of identifying and holding accountable the persons who spread false information that has currently caused fear among people is being investigated.
