The parties discussed issues of further expanding Uzbekistan-Belarus multifaceted partnership relations within the framework of implementing the agreements reached during Alexander Lukashenko's visit to Uzbekistan last February.
It was noted with satisfaction that contacts and exchanges at various levels are fruitful. The volume of trade turnover has increased by 30% since the beginning of the year. Cooperation projects between leading companies in agriculture, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, textiles, and other sectors are being implemented. Inter-parliamentary, business, and cultural-humanitarian ties are actively developing.
