On August 26 of this year, an iron bracket fell from an unfinished multi-story residential complex in the "Oqtepa" neighborhood of the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya region, and struck a 12-year-old girl in the head in the area of the "Orzu" market. The girl died at the scene as a result of the incident. The press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office confirmed this news, which had spread on social networks, to darakchi.uz.
According to the official information provided, labor protection rules were violated at the construction site belonging to the "Sanoot Makhkom" LLC. For this reason, an iron bracket that fell from the 10th floor of the building struck the head of a minor girl named M.U.
The preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination noted that the girl died as a result of cerebral hemorrhage, comminuted fractures of the skull, a fracture of the left femur, and blood entering her lungs.
In connection with the incident, forensic criminalistics and biological examinations have been appointed, and specialists from the Kashkadarya Regional Employment Department have also been involved. Pre-investigation checks are currently being carried out regarding the incident.
