The United States of America hopes to strengthen existing relations with Uzbekistan and develop new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation. This was noted in a congratulatory message sent by U.S. President Donald Trump to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In his message, Trump highlighted Uzbekistan's rich history and culture and emphasized that the strategic partnership between the two countries has been strengthening since independence.
In particular, it was noted that significant cooperation has been implemented in strengthening borders, increasing trade and investment, and ensuring religious freedom and regional stability.
"The United States seeks to strengthen existing relations and open up new opportunities. I send my best wishes to you and the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of the Independence Day," Trump's message says.
