It is reported that two Kyrgyz citizens were killed as a result of an armed clash on the Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan border.

According to reports, the incident occurred on August 15th when a situation of non-compliance with the law was observed on the border, and Uzbek border guards used weapons.

According to a report from the border service noted by the Kyrgyz State Committee for National Security, two people from the village of Aigyr-Jal in the Chotkal district were reported missing on August 25th.

It was later reported that their bodies were found and returned to Kyrgyzstan for examination. Three horses and one tent belonging to them were also returned.

As of now, no official statement has been issued by the official authorities of the two countries regarding this incident.
