The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the People's Republic of China, which lasted from August 31 to September 3, has concluded. During the visit, the head of state participated in a number of important meetings and international events.
Within the framework of the visit, the President participated in the informal events of the SCO summit held in the city of Tianjin. On September 1, he spoke at the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the organization and at a meeting in the "SCO+" format, putting forward initiatives to expand multilateral cooperation.
On September 2, talks were held in Beijing with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, and important documents aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries were signed. On the same day, Shavkat Mirziyoyev also held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The President also held fruitful talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, leaders of foreign delegations, and business representatives.
On September 3, Mirziyoyev participated in a solemn military parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. At the end of the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev returned to Tashkent.
