The Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General's Office have detained a former deputy on charges of state treason and abuse of power.
According to the investigation, he was recruited by the FSB before the start of the war and established a mechanism to exert influence on certain law enforcement agencies.
According to local media reports, this concerns former "Opposition Platform — For Life" party member Fedor Khristenko. The deputy hid in the UAE for a long time and was later handed over to the SBU.
