He invited the Iranian leader to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the negotiations that began in Islamabad. According to Macron, this process could lead to an agreement that de-escalates the situation and provides reliable security guarantees in the region for all participating states.

"I emphasized the need for Iran to quickly restore the freedom and security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and France is ready to assist in this process," said the President of France.

He also noted the importance of fully implementing the ceasefire regime, including in Lebanon.
