The requirement to present medical examination results during the official marriage registration process has been abolished by the presidential decree. This change was implemented to reduce bureaucratic procedures in state services.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Justice, couples getting married will no longer be required to submit a medical certificate. This procedure will come into effect on December 1, 2025.
The decree also envisages a number of other simplifications. For example, the practice of requiring a court decision from the civil registry offices for a record of divorce through the court is also being abolished.
