Several airports in Europe have experienced a cyberattack, which has disrupted their check-in systems.

For example, Brussels Zaventem International Airport announced that check-in procedures are being carried out manually. More information.

"Brussels Airport systems do not appear to have been affected in any way. Additional investigations regarding the impact are being conducted," clarified the Zaventem press service.

Passengers are asked to check their flight status in advance and only come to the airport if it is confirmed.

Berlin Brandenburg and London Heathrow airports have issued similar advisories, warning of potential flight delays.

The collapse was caused by a cyberattack that occurred a day earlier against Collins Aerospace, the provider of flight registration systems across Europe. The company stated it is working to restore full functionality as quickly as possible.
