According to the Ministry of Transport, the first batch of 100 electric buses purchased from China's Yutong Company has set off for Uzbekistan via Kazakhstan.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the "Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy. It aims to adapt to climate change, achieve carbon neutrality, and develop public transport in Tashkent.
The delivery process of the electric buses is scheduled to be completed by the end of September.
