According to the information provided by the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs, a traffic accident occurred in the Zangiata district when a truck collided with a bridge.

The incident occurred on September 26 of this year at approximately 19:00 in the Zangiata district of the Tashkent region. The driver of the truck failed to obey a warning sign and, driving a vehicle with non-compliant dimensions, collided with the concrete barrier of the part of the bridge intended for pedestrian traffic.

Traffic safety officials arrived at the scene and eliminated the resulting situation.

It was reported that in this incident, the health of the traffic participants was not harmed and the part of the bridge intended for vehicular traffic was not damaged; however, the part of the bridge intended for pedestrian traffic was damaged.

Measures are currently being taken to repair the damaged part of the bridge. Furthermore, the free movement of vehicles has been fully restored. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is also being conducted.
