A person who promised to send citizens through Mexico to the United States was arrested in Samarkand.

He promised to send 3 citizens to the U.S. and demanded $32,000 from each of them.

The head of a travel company operating in the city of Samarkand, having gained the trust of 3 citizens living in Samarkand city and Urgut district and having processed the necessary documents, demanded 32 thousand US dollars from each, totaling 96 thousand US dollars, in exchange for sending them to the United States of America via Mexico. The State Security Service information service reported this. 

According to the report, during an urgent operation conducted jointly by employees of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the head of the travel company was caught red-handed while receiving an advance payment of 15 thousand US dollars.

It is stated in the report that a criminal case has been initiated against this individual under Part 4, point "a" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
