A Damas vehicle hit several pedestrians due to a malfunction in the Shurchi district of the Surkhandarya region. The Regional Department of Emergency Situations provided information about the incident.
According to it, the incident occurred on September 22 at around 14:00 on the 2nd kilometer of the 4K 592 highway passing through the territory of the "Navruz" neighborhood of the Shurchi district. A malfunction occurred in the steering control mechanism while a driver born in 1998 was driving the Damas.
As a result, the vehicle veered into the oncoming lane and hit 3 pedestrians who were crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. As a result, the pedestrians were taken to the district medical association with bodily injuries they sustained.
Currently, regarding the incident, the Shurchi District Department of Internal Affairs has appointed forensic medical and technical expertise to determine the severity of the bodily injuries and the technical condition of the vehicle following the traffic accident, and pre-investigation operations are being carried out.
