Today, on September 29, a major fire occurred in Dehqonobod district of Kashkadarya region. The regional Emergency Situations Department officially commented on the situation.
It is reported that at 09:43, the Emergency Situations Department received a report about a fire in a diesel fuel storage tank installed above ground in the "Yelimquduq" village of the "Uzbekistan" rural citizens' assembly of Dehqonobod district.
Subsequently, 3 fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 09:58, the fire was contained by 10:05 and extinguished by 10:30.
Currently, preliminary investigation and inquiry activities are being carried out regarding this incident. The head of the regional Emergency Situations Department and leading staff of the district Emergency Situations Department, as well as responsible employees of the Internal Affairs, Sanitary Service, and Prosecutor's Office, visited the scene of the incident.
