The Ministry of Employment filed lawsuits regarding the interests of Air Samarkand employees. This was reported by the ministry's press secretary.

It is reported that about 10 complaints have been received regarding the situation of non-payment of wages by the airline's employees.

A lawsuit for a total of 1.5 billion soums has been filed in court by the State Labor Inspectorate to recover three months of unpaid wages.

In accordance with the legislation, a claim has been filed with the Samarkand City Court for Civil Cases, demanding payment with the addition of monetary compensation for each day of delay.

"In the spring and summer of 2025, the entire aircraft fleet underwent unscheduled technical maintenance. This required significant, unplanned expenses in a short time. The primary task before the management is to cover the wage arrears as soon as possible and stabilize the situation," the report says.
