Reports about pressure exerted by employees of the State Tax Committee on farmers spread on social networks are being studied by the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs under the Prime Minister.

Reports about pressure exerted by representatives of law enforcement agencies on some farms in the Rishton district of the Fergana region and the violation of their rights sparked discussions on social networks.

In connection with this situation, the Chief Business Ombudsman under the Prime Minister made an official statement. It was emphasized that farms are subjects of entrepreneurship operating legally in the country, and any unfounded pressure or violence against them is strictly prohibited.

"Government agencies must refrain from any illegal actions against entrepreneurs," the Ombudsman's statement says.

The situation is currently being investigated separately by the Council of the Chief Business Ombudsman. Additional information regarding the final conclusions and measures is expected.
