On October 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on the development of the artificial intelligence sector. New plans were announced to expand the sector's infrastructure, train qualified personnel, and support large-scale projects.

The presentation highlighted that 86 projects based on artificial intelligence have been developed in areas such as the economy, healthcare, education, and transport, and that $50 million has been allocated for their implementation. A supercomputer cluster is being established in the country to support these projects.

Another important update is the ongoing "One Million AI Leaders" program, which aims to have one million young people gain knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence by 2027. Currently, 5 free online courses are active on the aistudy.uz and omp.aistudy.uz platforms.

Furthermore, it was noted that the "HealthTech AI Hackathon" was successfully held. Similar hackathons will soon be held in areas such as education, the judicial system, and entrepreneurship.

The Head of State supported all initiatives and gave specific instructions to attract investments to the sector, intensify cooperation with foreign experts, and retrain computer science teachers.
