According to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) regulations, the display of brands other than official sponsors is strictly prohibited in the stadium and its surrounding areas.
The AFC imposes financial penalties on hosts who violate these requirements because a separate payment is allocated to each host team for the World Cup qualifying matches. The UFA was forced to pay the fine for failing to meet this requirement. The national team will pay a $340,000 USD fine for gifting BYD to its members.
