The chief jurisconsult of the Ohangaron district administration in the Tashkent region was caught red-handed while taking a bribe from a citizen in exchange for the official registration of a house.

During an urgent operation by the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, it was revealed that he had demanded $1,500 to officially register a household listed on the administration's balance sheet and located in the "Eyvale" neighborhood.

It was established that the official, who was caught with material evidence, had previously been convicted several times.

A criminal case has now been initiated against him under Articles 168 and 211 of the Criminal Code.
