During an operational event conducted by the DXX in Narpay district of Samarkand region, three individuals born in 1980, 1983, and 1987, residing in Navoi region, were apprehended while selling 18 kilograms of silver alloy to a "conditional buyer" for 11,700 soums per gram.
According to the expert conclusion, the pure weight of the found metal is 16 kilograms 744 grams, and its fineness is "999". Its total value was estimated to be 502 million 344 thousand soums.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these individuals under Part 4, paragraph "a" of Article 177 of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions to determine the source of the silver are ongoing.
