According to the report of the DXX information service, an architect from a private construction company specializing in construction planning, abusing the trust of a citizen living in Muzrabot district, fraudulently demanded 17 million soums in exchange for "smoothly" processing the unfinished non-residential building project documents belonging to him through the relevant organizations.
During an urgent operation conducted in cooperation with the DXX and internal affairs bodies, he was caught red-handed while receiving the requested amount of money.
Subsequently, the urgent operation was continued, and it became known that the architect had to give 1 million soums out of the 17 million soums to the head of the Muzrabot district construction and housing utilities department; this official was also caught red-handed while receiving this amount of money.
A criminal case has now been initiated against them, and investigative actions are being carried out.
