A new "Hajj and Umrah Single Portal" was launched to digitize the processes of organizing Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Committee on Religious Affairs.
It was emphasized that applicants can submit an application online and register in the queue via the websites www.my.gov.uz or haj-umra.gov.uz.
According to the Committee, the implementation of the new system is aimed at creating convenience for pilgrims, ensuring transparency, and reducing the human factor in the formation of the queue. Furthermore, bureaucratic processes such as document collection, paperwork, and visits to organizations will be eliminated.
Through the portal, citizens will also have the opportunity to obtain all information related to Hajj and Umrah trips, monitor the status of their application, and know their place in the electronic queue.
