During an operational event carried out in the direction of combating the illegal circulation of medicines in Namangan, a clandestine drug production workshop was identified.
According to information, the head of an LLC engaged in the production of biologically active additives had been preparing medicines in a manual, artisanal way in a place that did not meet sanitary requirements.
During the event, 9 types of medicines, precursors, production equipment, and label materials with a total value of 30 billion soums were seized as material evidence.
It was determined that the counterfeit drugs were produced under names similar to original products, such as "Pivovit" (Pikovit), "Kanaseron" (Canephron), "Espumetik" (Espumisan).
Currently, expertise and investigative actions are being carried out. According to officials, the sale of such medicines poses a serious threat to human health and leads to liability before the law.
