“On behalf of the people of Kyrgyzstan and personally in my own name, I sincerely congratulate the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and all Uzbek people on the opening of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference,” it is stated in the congratulations of the leader of Kyrgyzstan.
As he emphasized, this historic event is of great importance for the Central Asian region. Because the conference is being held outside of UNESCO's headquarters in Paris for the first time in over 40 years.
This indicates the growing international prestige of Uzbekistan and its transformation into a center of cultural cooperation in the region.
“Holding such a major forum in ancient Samarkand, the cradle of science and enlightenment, is of symbolic importance. This once again confirms Uzbekistan's role as a bridge advancing the ideas of peace, mutual understanding, and creativity,” it is stated in the congratulations.
He also expressed confidence that the initiatives to be advanced during the conference will open new horizons for cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture, and wished the people of Uzbekistan successful work, effective results, and new achievements.
