According to Bloomberg, Poland aims to launch a national counter-drone system within a few months, focused on detecting, tracking, and neutralizing enemy drones from the direction of Crimea or Russia along the border.

According to Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk, this initiative will be implemented without waiting for decisions at the European Union level.

After the government announced the project, it planned to launch it within three months; the full system is expected to be completed in approximately two years. The program will include multi-faceted surveillance assets for detecting enemy unmanned aerial vehicles and automated anti-drone defense solutions.

It is noted that the "drone wall" is also being considered as a joint initiative with Germany, Poland, Finland, and the Baltic states, and it could be deployed along various parts of the border with Russia, including the territory of Ukraine.
