In Uzbekistan, it is proposed to increase liability for drivers who violate the rules for transporting children. This was reported by Zamon.uz.

The draft has been submitted for public discussion, according to which it is proposed to supplement the Code with Article 128-11, which provides for liability for violating the rules for transporting children and organizing the transportation of children.

According to the document, drivers who violate the rules for transporting children may be fined 30 times the basic calculation amount and deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of one to three years.

If this violation is committed by a person who does not have the right to drive a vehicle or who has been deprived of the right to drive, it is proposed to impose a fine of 50 times the basic calculation amount or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.

Also, a fine of 30 times the basic calculation amount may be imposed for violating the rules for organizing the transportation of children. If this violation is repeated within one year after the application of an administrative penalty, the fine amount is expected to increase to 50 times the basic calculation amount.
