As of November 7 of this year, 3,696 legal violations related to waste have been identified, and administrative fines totaling 2 billion soums have been applied to the offenders. This was reported by the Press Service of the Tashkent City Mayor's Office.
According to the mayor's office, 62,863 appeals related to ecology were received from citizens through the "People's Control" platform, of which 60,906 have been resolved.
Furthermore, with the help of 812 specialized vehicles, 14,000 tons of household and solid waste were removed from 585 neighborhood areas and placed in landfills. The areas around 8,573 multi-story buildings were cleaned, and 2,890 trees were cultivated and decoratively shaped.
Work was also carried out on hydraulic facilities, with 10 km of water areas, canals, and rivers in 12 areas cleaned of 315 tons of waste. Additionally, the sanitary condition of 594 facilities was inspected, and 365 identified deficiencies were eliminated.
To strengthen ecological discipline, the mayor's office has established a special headquarters within the framework of the "Toza hudud" and "Toza poytaxt" projects.
