President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution aimed at strengthening social protection and material incentives for employees of state medical institutions.

The document tasked the government with implementing a number of specific measures to support sector personnel starting from 2026.

According to the resolution, starting from 2026:

- On the occasion of Medical Workers' Day, an incentive in the amount of the minimum wage will be presented annually.

- From April 1, state medical institutions will transition to a 5-day work week (on-duty schedules will be maintained on holidays and rest days).

- From January 1, upon successful implementation of a new treatment method with positive results, doctors will receive a one-time reward equivalent to 50 times the BRM.

- For employees with at least 15 years of service, 30% of the annual contract tuition fee for their children's undergraduate studies at HEIs will be covered (not exceeding 15 times the BRM).

- Expenses incurred for articles published in international scientific databases will be fully covered.

- For 500 employees (with 15 years of service) annually, up to 25% of the down payment for a mortgage-based home purchase will be covered.

- Employees of institutions that have passed national accreditation will receive a monthly bonus of 10% of their official salary.

- Employees with at least 3 years of service will have the right to receive high-tech medical care free of charge once a year.

- For employees with at least 15 years of service, free vouchers to republican sanatoriums will be allocated once a year.

- Fees for all types of state services will be reduced by half for medical and pharmaceutical employees.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Economy and Finance has been tasked with allocating 100 billion soums annually to the Fund starting from 2026, with indexation, and providing for necessary expenses in the State Budget.
