He said that any corrupt practices in the energy sector must be strictly punished. "Anyone who set up a scheme must face a clear procedural response. There must be court rulings," Zelenskyy said.
Earlier, Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) announced that they had exposed a large-scale corruption scheme at Energoatom.
According to the investigation, the participants of the scheme appropriated 10–15 percent of the contract value, legalizing a total of $100 million through an office in central Kyiv. It is stated that the building belongs to the family of former MP Andriy Derkach.
