Google announced that it will allocate 5.5 billion euros for infrastructure and digital development in Germany.

The funds will be directed towards the construction of a new data center in the city of Dittsenbach in the federal state of Hesse, the expansion of the existing center in Hanau, and the development of offices in Munich, Frankfurt, and Berlin.

According to company representative Philipp Justus, this project will create approximately 9,000 new jobs annually.

Representatives of the German government assessed this initiative as an important step towards turning the country into a leading data center in Europe.
