The new consulates are planned to be opened in Philadelphia, Chicago, Orlando, and Seattle, the cities with the largest concentrations of the Uzbek diaspora.
Through them, the goal is to establish effective cooperation with compatriots and also to expand Uzbekistan's investment and trade relations in the United States.
Starting from January 1, 2026, the position of a counselor-advisor from the Presidential Administration will be introduced at the embassy in Washington.
This position will assist in coordinating the activities of the U.S.-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council and in implementing foreign policy initiatives.
