The operation of a "bunker" aimed at illegally assisting teachers undergoing certification remotely in the city of Namangan has been identified and stopped. The SSS reported this.
The deputy director of a general secondary school in the Davlatobod district, the head of a department at the Namangan State Technical University, a department specialist, and their accomplices, having conspired, were found to have been providing assistance to teachers for material gain during the test examinations conducted for certification to determine qualification categories.
During the rapid operation, the apartment used as a "bunker" was inspected. There, 12 teachers who were recruited to solve test questions were identified, and several laptops, 30 various listening devices, hidden cameras, 8 Wi-Fi routers, and other technical equipment were seized as material evidence.
Prior to the investigation, it was discovered during the inquiry that these individuals, having promised a number of teachers in the region positive results on their exams, demanded $1,300-1,500 USD, and had collected more than $25,000 in just September-October 2024 alone.
Regarding the case, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 3, paragraph "b" of Article 168 and Part 2, paragraph "a" of Article 211 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
Furthermore, the deputy school director and a citizen born in 2001 who managed the "bunker" are persons who have previously been held accountable for committing a similar crime.
