President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Syrdarya regional branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care.
Those injured as a result of a gas cylinder explosion at one of the public catering establishments in Gulistan city two days ago are being treated here.
The center's management and doctors informed our President about the condition of the patients and the progress of treatment. The head of our state entered the wards where citizens who suffered injuries of varying severity in the unfortunate incident are being treated, inquired about their well-being, and spoke with family members.
Our President instructed officials to strictly monitor the provision of all necessary medical assistance to the victims. He expressed condolences to the families of those who died as a result of the tragic incident and noted the necessity of providing them with material assistance.
According to the instruction, a brigade of 10 qualified doctors, headed by the director of the Republican Emergency Medical Care Center, is providing free quality medical and psychological assistance to the victims.
Officials have been tasked with thoroughly investigating the causes of the incident, ensuring the rule of law, preventing such situations in the future, and strengthening control over fire safety.
