Initially, reports spread on social networks that residents of the Pastdargom district of Samarkand region were suffering from unusual smoke spreading at night, namely that an entrepreneur in the area was burning car cylinders to prepare feed for pigs.
According to reports, the entrepreneur had been raising pigs here for 2 years. He burned car cylinders at night to prepare feed for the animals. Based on an appeal to the business ombudsman by letter and the organization's response letter, measures will be taken against the entrepreneur in accordance with the procedure established by law.
According to preliminary information from the district administration's Press Service, the enterprise did not have permission from the ecology agency and the sanitary-epidemiological center to engage in this type of activity.
Based on the received appeal, the district head, together with responsible officials, conducted an inspection in this area.
During the inspection, it was established that in this area, car cylinders were being illegally burned to prepare feed for livestock, releasing harmful substances into the air.
"Regarding this violation, the responsible services are promptly taking measures. Stopping measures have been taken at the scene of the incident, and it has been determined that legal measures will be applied against the relevant persons in accordance with the established procedure," the report states.
