A woman who transported drugs through her 13-year-old nephew was arrested in Tashkent.

In a rapid operation, more than 1.3 thousand potent drugs worth 150 million soums were seized.

The Tashkent Regional DIA reported the exposure of a criminal group engaged in transporting and selling large quantities of potent drugs from Fergana to the capital.

According to information, during an operational event conducted in Tashkent district, a woman born in 1985 was apprehended while delivering drugs worth 750,000 soums to a controlled buyer through a 13-year-old teenager. 162 drug units worth 20 million soums were found in her house.

The operation was continued, and two individuals who had been supplying the woman with drugs were also apprehended while selling 278 units of potent drugs for 23 million soums. An additional 67 drug units were identified from them.

During a follow-up operation in Fergana region, a 39-year-old woman from Dangara and two men from Kokand, aged 35 and 39, were caught while selling 738 drug units for 44 million soums.

A total of 1,343 units of potent drugs with a total value of 150 million soums were seized.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 251-1, part 4 of the Criminal Code regarding the incident, and the preventive measure of "detention" has been applied to six suspects. Investigative actions are ongoing.
