The dollar exchange rate in Uzbekistan has risen again.

The Central Bank announced new official exchange rates for foreign currencies effective from December 16.

According to Central Bank data, the US dollar rose by 32.08 soums to 12,130.01 soums. The euro exchange rate increased by 50.98 soums to 14,245.48 soums.

The Russian ruble also appreciated by 1.27 soums, set at 153.04 soums.

It is noted that last week, the dollar exchange rate showed only an upward trend, reaching 12,047.45 soums.

According to Central Bank data, from January to November 2025, the soum exchange rate strengthened by 7.5 percent.

During this period, the population sold $19.4 billion worth of foreign currency to commercial banks and purchased $10.6 billion worth of currency.
