A rapid inspection was carried out at a warehouse belonging to one of the pharmacies operating in Tashkent district in collaboration between the DXX Tashkent regional administration and law enforcement agencies. It revealed the presence of 1,209 types of medicines with a total value of 38 billion soums.

According to the inspection results, it was found that medicines worth approximately 20 billion soums lacked an international GDP certificate and were being stored without the appropriate license. Furthermore, over 10,000 boxes of medicine worth 263.9 million soums had expired, and the expiration dates on some medicines and gel products had been falsified.

Based on the conclusion of the "Pharmaceutical Product Safety Center," the storage, sale, transportation, and use in medical practice of the identified medicines within the territory of Uzbekistan has been prohibited. Regarding this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under part 3, paragraph "a" of Article 186-3 of the Criminal Code against the responsible persons of the pharmacy, and investigative actions are being carried out.
