According to NBC News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to warn US President Donald Trump about Iran expanding its ballistic missile program and to justify the necessity of new strikes in response.
The Israeli side has expressed concern over the possibility that Tehran could increase its ballistic missile production capacity to up to 3,000 per month. Furthermore, reports that Iran is restoring the uranium enrichment facilities struck by the US in June are also causing concern.
According to sources, Trump and Netanyahu could meet at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida at the end of December. This meeting is expected to discuss how Iran's actions pose a threat not only to Israel but to the entire region and US interests.
We recall that in June of this year, the US also joined the Iran-Israel confrontation by striking Iran's nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
