During an urgent operation conducted in collaboration with the Tashkent city administration, the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes detained a previously convicted lawyer.
He had promised, through his official acquaintances, to "resolve" the issue of not applying detention as a preventive measure against a suspect in a criminal case under investigation by the Shaykhantakhur District DIA Investigation Department.
Regarding this incident, a criminal case was initiated against the lawyer under Part 3, paragraph "v" of Article 168, as well as Articles 28 and Part 1 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code, and detention was applied as a preventive measure against him. Investigative actions are currently being carried out.
