Uzbekistan is closely monitoring the situation in the Gaza sector with deep concern and assesses it as a humanitarian tragedy.
According to the MFA, Uzbekistan fully supports the implementation of the reached agreements on a ceasefire, the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid, and the resolution of the conflict based on the "two peoples – two states" principle through political and diplomatic means.
Furthermore, Uzbekistan is consistently continuing to provide humanitarian assistance to the long-suffering Palestinian people. In particular, 100 Palestinian patients have been brought to Uzbekistan for treatment, and a special decree has been adopted by the President to provide them with comprehensive assistance.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also continues to support international efforts aimed at ensuring sustainable peace and security in the region. At the same time, Uzbekistan's position on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been previously stated.
