Uzbekistan Airways has announced new rules that will apply in case of disrupted itinerary on domestic flights starting from January 2026.
According to the new procedure:
If a passenger has not used the first or any preceding segment of the flight, the airline will not cancel the booking for all subsequent segments. The passenger can continue the flight along the remaining route indicated on the ticket.
In such cases, regardless of the type of fare used to pay for the ticket, the value of the unused segments is non-refundable. Only airport taxes for the unused flight segments may be refunded.
Tickets with unused flight segments are not accepted for reissue. Standard rules apply for international flights:
If a passenger does not show up for the first or any preceding segment of the itinerary, the booking for all subsequent segments is automatically canceled without notifying the passenger.
The passenger can reissue or refund the ticket based on the voluntary refund or reissue conditions, in accordance with the fare rules applied when paying for the ticket.
