The Central Bank announced new currency exchange rates for January 6.
The US dollar exchange rate in Uzbekistan has fallen below 12,000 soums. According to the Central Bank's data, as of January 6, the dollar became cheaper by 52.17 soums, amounting to 11,952.24 soums.
Similarly, the euro decreased by 165.39 soums, becoming 13,963.80 soums. The Russian ruble also fell by 5.78 soums, set at 147.81 soums.
It is noted that the dollar exchange rate ended 2025 with a decline, and this trend is continuing at the beginning of 2026.
