These descriptions caused heated discussions among the public. Regarding the situation, the Anti-Corruption Agency expressed its position and sent an official appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers.

The agency noted a violation of ethical rules by civil servants and proposed to consider the issue of holding the minister disciplinary accountable.

It was also stated that it is necessary to warn him to strictly comply with legislative requirements.

According to the agency, in accordance with current legislation, civil servants cannot engage in other paid work besides pedagogical, scientific, and creative activities. Furthermore, even outside of working hours, they must refrain from actions that could damage the authority of the civil service.

The Ministry of Culture also expressed its attitude regarding this situation. According to the ministry's press service, the video was taken at a wedding of one of the ministry's employees, and the minister had not planned this situation in advance.

"The video shows money being handed to the minister by admirers. At the same time, in such a situation, refusing the will of citizens could put them in an awkward position in front of the public, which could be misinterpreted as disrespect or disdain," — says the ministry's statement.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Culture emphasized that giving money to artists at wedding ceremonies is not prohibited by current legislation and is part of national traditions. The official statement noted that Ozodbek Nazarbekov is not only a minister but also a famous singer, and this situation should be assessed as a circumstance related to his creative activity.

The Anti-Corruption Agency, for its part, stated that in the future, strict control will also be maintained over the observance of behavior and ethical standards by civil servants.
