Yesterday, three Uzbek citizens were also among those on a boat that crashed on the island of Phuket, Thailand. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on this.
It is noted that as a result of the incident, two of them sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized. The injured citizens have now fully recovered and have been discharged from the hospital.
The report also states that all necessary medical and other expenses for the injured have been fully covered by the insurance funds of the company owning the boat.
It was additionally noted that regarding the incident, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok has been in constant contact with local law enforcement agencies and healthcare institutions.
