Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed proposals aimed at improving the healthcare system here.
- Starting from 2026, a national program to combat heart attacks and strokes will be implemented. Within the framework of the program, the population at risk will be identified and targeted medical examinations will be conducted; the "golden hour" principle, artificial intelligence, telemedicine, and digital clinical pathways will be applied in emergency medical care.
- The material and technical base of the emergency medical service will be strengthened, and teams will be equipped with modern equipment. Non-state medical institutions will also be involved in providing emergency services, and the services will be financed through state medical insurance.
- The blood service will be fundamentally modernized between 2026–2030, donor volumes will be increased, and an electronic accounting and online monitoring system will be introduced.
- It was proposed to purchase 1,027 units of 80 types of medical equipment for the Republican Oncology Center, as well as a cyclotron and a radiosynthesis laboratory intended for the production of radiopharmaceutical products.
The President approved the proposals and signed the relevant decisions.
